After dialing the phone number decoded from the prior clue, players were directed to Griffith Park Observatory with the following verbally delivered clue:

In front of the building I found a statue of the person who discovered heaven, and I ran in the direction in which he was facing. I ran for exactly 3600 feet—I might have gone up or down steep hills, over fences and ditches, across roads, or even through buildings—I can’t remember. I do remember that after at least fifteen minutes of running in that same direction, I reached two small circular grass plains, about 15 yards in diameter. It was there that I had my vision. I remember a fire hydrant on the edge of the plains, and two metal plates next to the fire hydrant, where I hid the information that came to me in the vision.
